This newly constructed residential care facility consists of 84 rooms and 22 service flats. The first and second floor both accomodate two living communities, each with its own day room and kitchen.

The basement contains staff rooms, store rooms, technical rooms, a commercial kitchen, a hair dresser and a public exercise room and a silent room.

The building is equipped with a 40 kW CHP system for heating and for the production of sanitary hot water. To meet peak demand condensing gas boilers are installed. A central building automation system controls the lighting system, the call system, the air conditioning system, the energy monitoring; in short, it controls and visualizes the whole building. This is a rather unique approach, not that obvious since each platform has its own knowledge and needs.
