Project description:
On the ‘Groenhagemolen’ site in Leffinge, the existing house and bakery have been restored. The house is used as a reception area for visitors of the the mill and bakery, but can also be hired and used as a one of a kind unique meeting room.
The building is heated by a condensing boiler in combination with radiators with thermostatic faucets. A ventilation system type D with heat recovery via a cross-flow heat exchanger assures a healthy and comfortable indoor climate: top cooling in the summer periods can be used via the air handling unit that was added in the technical room on the first floor.
To lift the building to a higher level in terms of sustainability, the rainwater is reused for the toilets and all lighting is LED in order to limit electricity consumption.
In addition, all techniques are integrated in the rooms, such as access, data network and fire detection, in order to meet current standards.
